Refund policy

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made from Slice Society Australia (ABN 156 725 279 18) (“Slice Society”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the ACL.

2. CHANGE OF MIND
Due to the nature of our products (food items), we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, including but not limited to:
  • Incorrect selection
  • No longer required
  • Dissatisfaction with taste, texture or appearance
  • Failure to read product descriptions or allergen information
3. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive goods that are:
  • Faulty
  • Damaged in transit
  • Incorrectly supplied
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing hello@slicesociety.com.au with:
  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographic evidence
Failure to notify us within this timeframe may affect our ability to investigate the claim.

4. ASSESSMENT AND RESOLUTION
Once assessed, we may (at our discretion and in accordance with ACL):
  • Replace the product
  • Refund the purchase price
  • Provide store credit
We are not required to accept returns where damage or spoilage occurs due to improper storage, handling or use after delivery.

5. SHIPPING COSTS
Where a refund or replacement is required under the ACL, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
We do not refund shipping fees for change-of-mind requests (where applicable).

6. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS (B2B)
If you purchase goods for commercial, resale or business use, you acknowledge that:
  • Goods are not supplied for personal, domestic or household use
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, consumer guarantees may not apply
  • Returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis
